Showing inside the body

I think that I definitely want to work onto a mirror, I’ve done it in the past and really enjoyed it so will be nice to go back to it. The surface is very smooth and the acrylic sits on it very cleanly.

To test this I draw onto acetate a few of parts of the body, although they were not to scale and so don’t fit to the body when places against a mirror.

IMAG0135 I drew the heart, lungs, hand, vertebrae, leg muscles and shoulder using images of the actual organs and bones. I don’t think this will be how I produce the final piece but the study has meant that I’m more comfortable with how the inside of humans look.
