After talking with my tutor I think I’m going to explore what might happen to the human body (in evolutionary terms) if our lifestyle became more sedentary. Not just looking at the effect of weight gain but thinking about our bone and muscle structure might be effected by lying or sitting a lot.
One thing to look into might be the recent study done by nasa that got people to lie down for a consecutive number of days. As well as a study were a man played within an reality simulator for a equally large number of days.
One fear I have with this is that it is all going to be theory and might be difficult to find useful sources.
