Mary Dewey – The Joshua Gallery

I saw this piece at The Coffi house while at a poetry night and was completely in love with it. The artist was even kind enough to reply to my email asking about the inspiration for it, saying that this was a result of seeing rock formations and the pleasing production of a landscape from something that come out of the landscapes.

The colours and design of this reminds me of the map and how nature can lend itself so perfectly for artist to be inspired. Something that I definitely have found with this project.
