Continuing with the mapping of materials I have create this small drawing from an mri of a human body. The colours are again similar to the colours used on williams smiths strata map. I believe that the colours have turned something that is sometimes uncomfortable to look at into something beautiful.

The second image is the drawing overlaying the original mri scan which is glowing from the backlight of my laptop, i particularly enjoy the aesthetic of this and how it gives a new beauty to the scan.

While looking for the mri scan image I found this stock image which interested me because of the geographical gradient design placed on the body. I’m sure this is something that I might return to.
